Anwar Uddin has stepped down as manager of Sporting Bengal United FC. He led Sporting to a record-breaking season as the club achieved its highest ever league points total. Anwar also set up the now thriving academy.

Anwar Uddin helped to galvanise the club which is now ‘heading firmly in the right direction’. His assistant Steve Clark and coach Rich Bates are also leaving the club. As a team they made big contribution towards the development of the club and its players in the Essex Senior League.

Everyone at Tower Hamlets News wish Anwar, Steve and Rich all the very best with their next challenge whatever that may be.
