Calling all cricketers in Tower Hamlets

Cricketers young and old invited and welcome at Tower Hamlets CC this season

With the new cricket season approaching, Tower Hamlets Cricket Club are extending an invitation for cricketers of all ages to get involved with the club this year. The club begin their pre-season training and net sessions in the coming weeks, with plenty of cricket action available for cricketers of all ages and experience.

For the 2016 season, the club’s mens/adult section will see three teams playing on Saturday afternoons in the Middlesex Championship Cricket League Div 2 and a midweek XI playing Wednesday evenings Victoria Park Cricket League. The club’s Sunday XI will also playing a series of t20 Middlesex community league on meaning there is once again plenty of cricket on offer at all levels.

Tower Hamlets junior cricket section continues to flourish and continues to be one of the most popular in the Middlesex Colts Association Central area for children between 11 and 17 years. In addition to weekly coaching and game sessions run by ECB qualified coaches, they will once again have Kwik Cricket for boys and girls aged 8-11, plus [hard ball] teams at Under 11, Under 14 and Under 17 level in the Middlesex Colts Association Central league.

Pre-season training for Tower Hamlets CC held at Playon Sports Centre in Whitchapel until the end of March, when the club hopes to head outdoors to The Green ahead of the season starting in mid-April.

The Under 11s, Under 14s and Under 17s continue their preparations on Thursday from 4pm to 6pm, with their sessions running each Thursday until end of March.
