Poplar High Street Road Closure 19 March – 20 March

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – POPLAR HIGH STREET E14

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets made an Order, which will prohibit or ban vehicular traffic from turning left from the slip road in Poplar High Street, in the westbound direction, into Preston’s Road. The restrictions on vehicular traffic will enable essential reinstatement works to be carried out on the public highway by Agility on behalf of Thames Water. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Poplar High Street (westbound), Newby Place (northbound), Montague Place (eastbound), Bazely Street (southbound), Poplar High Street (eastbound) and Preston Road (southbound). The restriction on vehicular traffic will operate on Saturday 19th March 2016 and Sunday 20th March 2016 and at times when temporary traffic signs are placed on the public highway pursuant to the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.
