Renewed appeal for missing man from Stepney

Sandeep Rakhra was last seen at about 7pm on Tuesday, 8 November at his home address in Shandy Street, E1.

Sandeep, a Manchester United fan is known to frequent areas including Victoria Park, Canary Wharf and Westfield Stratford. He enjoys snooker and is a keen runner, he went missing after he left for a weekly exercise class.

Sandeep’s mother Sanesh and sister Sonia, said: “Everyone who knows Sandeep loves him and are hoping and praying that he comes home soon. If anybody has any information about where he is, however small, please pass it on to the police.

“If you read this Sandeep, know that we love you. All we want is a message to know that you are okay. You are so precious and we miss you. Please come back to us.”

Detective Chief Inspector Ingrid Cruickshank, from Tower Hamlets, said: “It has been four weeks to the day since Sandeep was last seen. His family are understandably very concerned for his welfare, and police share that concern.”

He added “If you have seen or heard from Sandeep, or have any idea where he may be, I would urge you to please contact police on 101 or Missing People on 116 000.”

Anyone with information about Sandeep’s whereabouts should call Tower Hamlets Police on 101 or Missing People on 116 000.
