Tower Hamlets is the 370th most Eurosceptic area in the UK

The most Eurosceptic local authority in the UK is Tendring in Essex.

Sky Data have sifted through results from surveys conducted between May 2015 and February 2016 and checked them to reveal which areas are most likely to vote to Leave the European Union.

The data shows that the most Eurosceptic area is Tendring, Essex, which is held by UKIP’s sole MP Douglas Carswell.

Tower Hamlets came 370th out of 376 areas on the list.

Tower Hamlets Council there says it had a turnout of over 50% in the EU elections in 2014, they are hoping voter registration gains traction.

East Anglia and south-eastern coastal areas have the largest number of Eurosceptics, while the least Eurosceptic areas are in London and Scotland.
