Traffic accident in Bow, delays expected.

Police are currently on the scene outside Bow Church DLR and Bow Road E3, dealing with a serious road traffic collision. According to reports, at around 04:38 am, the London Ambulance Service received a call regarding a female who had been hit by a car. The female is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries that are potentially life-threatening and changing.

The victim has been taken to an East London hospital for further medical care and remains in a serious condition. Due to the severity of the incident, there are road closures in place on Bow Road E3 in both directions, at the junctions with Campbell Road and Fairfield Road. This is expected to cause traffic disruption to the local area and access to Bow Church DLR may be affected.

Police are urging members of the public to avoid this location if possible. Anyone with information about this accident is asked to contact the Police on Tel No 101, quoting CAD reference 798 – 09MAR23.
