Body recovered from river at Limehouse

A body was recovered from the river by specialist officers from the Marine Police Unit at around 7.44pm yesterday.

On Tuesday, 6 June at around 7:44pm the body of a man was recovered from the River Thames, near Limehouse.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, however detectives were appealing for information about Xavier Thomas, 45, a French national who had not been seen since the night of the terrorist attack on London Bridge.

Mr. Thomas’ next of kin have been informed of this development.
