The cafe, probably one of the first of its kind in Tower Hamlets, sold marijuana, cannabis resins and extracts, which could be smoked at the cafe in a safe, social environment.

The cannabis club looks like it sold multiple strains of cannabis which were on display with the name of the strains hand written on the containers.

According to social media and a hashtag the club served a diverse range of people who got to buy cannabis over the counter instead of a street dealer.

A Freedom of Information request shows that there was a total of 95353 separate arrests for possession of cannabis by the Metropolitan Police during 2010 -2015 in England and Wales.

The club was the venue of a video shoot. An underground artist named Mist shot part of a music video in the club on top of a pool table with a dancer.
