Man wanted after Rich Mix burglary

Detectives from Tower Hamlets borough have issued CCTV footage of a man they wish to identify and speak to in connection with a burglary at an arts centre.

On Wednesday, 20 April police were called at around 09:00hrs to a report of a burglary at Rich Mix Cultural Foundation, Bethnal Green Road, Tower Hamlets.

The burglary is believed have occurred between 18:20hrs on Tuesday, 19 April and 08:30hrs on Wednesday, 20 April. Over £3500 worth of audio equipment was stolen from the property.

CCTV in the rear of the premises caught the moment the suspect walked into the rear of the workshop at 18:27hrs on 19 April. He was seen to walk around the location and leave with the equipment.

The suspect [image ref 211958] is described as a white man in his mid 30s, 5ft 8ins tall with short black hair wearing a black Adidas sports cap with white writing and a black and white jumper with a red hood underneath. He wore dark trousers, blue and white trainers and a black rucksack.

Police are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may recognise the man shown on CCTV.
