Men wanted in connection to stabbing at West India Quay DLR

Officers investigating a stabbing at West India Quay DLR station are today releasing CCTV images in connection.

At around 1.50pm on Tuesday 3 August, the victim, a man, was approached by two men at the station. They engaged in a brief conversation before one of the men pulled out a flick knife, demanding his belongings.

He punched the victim in the head and stabbed in him in his upper arm.

They took the victim’s hat and bag and when he refused to give them his jacket, one of the men stabbed him again in his thigh. The men then left the station.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, thankfully his injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.

Officers believe the men in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
