Tower Hamlets performers wanted for Roof Garden festivals

Following the success of last year’s Early and Late Bloom Arts Festivals, the Space is looking for local performers to participate in the 2016 festivals at the Roof Garden performance space.

Located on top of the Crossrail Station in Canary Wharf, the performance space is an intimate and informal 70 seat amphitheatre in a covered roof garden.

The Early Bloom festival takes place on 21st and 22nd May with the Late Bloom festival happening on 6th and 7th August. Both festivals are open to performers of all ages and experience levels. Last year’s festivals included theatre, dance, music and spoken word performances.

Performance slots will vary in length from 5 minutes to an hour and performances may be scheduled multiple times throughout the festivals. Performances should be suited to an outdoor performance space and be appropriate for all ages.

All tickets to events at the Roof Garden are free. There are no fees available for participation in the festivals although reasonable expenses will be covered.

The Space is a performance venue based in a converted church on the Isle of Dogs and managed by St Paul’s Arts Trust. The Space manages the Roof Garden performance space on behalf of Canary Wharf.
