American president Barack Obama touched down in London on Thursday night for a three-day visit of the UK. The main reason for his visit was to nudge British voters towards a Remain vote in the EU referendum on June 23rd.
Saturday however saw 500 young people invited to Lindley Hall at the Royal Horticultural Society in central London for a “town-hall” style event. Mr Obama addressed young people in Westminster and then took questions from them.
Amongst the young people were students from Tower Hamlets very own Mulberry School who were invited by U.S. Ambassador to the UK, Matthew Barzun.
