Crash on Vallance Road causing delays

At around 2.20pm (Sunday 15th May) two cars were involved in a crash on Vallance Road at the junction of Buxton Street. This has caused major delays as the police have restricted vehicles to one lane.

A BMW was turning left out of Buxton Street while the Golf was heading towards Whitechapel apparently overtaking a vehicle heading in the same direction.

We have spoken to the driver of the BMW who was seen by the ambulance service, he said that he was ok.

The driver of the Golf was at the scene providing details to the police.
