A Tower Hamlets man has been charged with murder after a woman was fatally stabbed in an east London street.
Adelani Bepo, 28, of Three Colt Street, E14, was charged on Sunday with the murder of 40-year-old Shadika Mohsin Patel.
Ms Patel was found with multiple knife wounds in Altmore Avenue, near the junction with Barking Road, East Ham, on March 19. She later died in hospital.
Ms Patel, was the mother of two teenage sons and lived alone in nearby Plaistow.
The suspect will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today 30 March.
